Earned Value Management System (EVMS) Certification

MSLLC has led in the development of a new project management system based on two industry standards: the principles of the project life cycle as documented by the Project Management Institute and the criteria for Earned Value Management Systems as described in ANSI/EIA Standard 748-98. This system is complete and was certified ready for DCMA audit by DOE EMVS contractor, PMA. A significant part of the system development was the definition of processes and development of procedures for project managers. Key processes were documented and used to develop project flow diagrams for typical project types and detailed project management procedures. The processes and related project management procedures were carefully tailored to ensure complete compliance with all 32 EVMS criteria, as documented in the ANSI Standard.

MSLLC also developed and provided training on the principles of project management and the processes used within the project management system to all project development personnel; specialized training (e.g. Risk Management, Project Planning and advanced Earned Value) was provided to project managers and control account managers.
