On-site Project Controls Support
MSLLC has implemented many Project Controls groups/organizations for the Construction, Engineering, and Environmental industry. This includes Organizations/Divisions for the DoE, DoD, and commercial clients. These organizations have managed/controlled projects ranging from $50,000 to $20 million, across different appropriation/funding types. These groups/organizations integrate estimates, costs, schedule, and technical percent complete information; generate and analyze project performance reports; and assist in project decision-making. The primary goal of the Project Controls group/organization established by MSLLC is to expedite schedules, minimize negative cost impacts to the project, and to assure technical scope is performed as defined.
MSLLC personnel are involved from the inception of the projects (i.e. site walk and out year planning) through project closeout. The Project Controls resources work with the project team members to develop the Work Breakdown Structure (WBS); Cost Baseline; Schedule Baseline; and Technical Baseline (foundation for earned value). The Project Controls organization also works closely with the Budget Analyst/Financial Administrator, the Project Manager, and the key technical leads to perform monthly reviews and update the cost, schedule, and technical percent complete.
