Management Solutions, LLC (MSLLC) promotes a work environment that recognizes we are part of something larger. We believe in being good stewards in our local communities and offer a variety of opportunities for involvement to our employees. We not only work in our communities but for our communities. Whether as a company, a team or an individual, we encourage supporting the communities where we live and work - to improve the world and the lives of the people around us.
Here are just a few of the many causes we support:
Restoration House - MSLLC is a longtime supporter of The Restoration House (TRH). Restoration House’s Village provides transitional housing and other resources for low-income single-mother families working to break the cycle of poverty. Management Solutions' President and CEO Misty Mayes felt so strongly about the need for the program, that she volunteered her time and the talents and resources of her company to making the effort a success.
One of the biggest ways MSLLC has helped the effort is by providing owner’s rep services to the organization for the construction of its Village communities. According to Daniel Watson, Restoration House co-founder and executive director, this one gift of service has saved the Restoration House over a hundred thousand dollars.
"Misty has actively volunteered with Restoration House since 2008. She has gone above and beyond in everything she does with the Restoration House," Daniel said. "Without her influence, the Restoration House would not be where it is today."
TRH currently walks alongside 8 single-mother families at any one time. MSLLC is currently working with TRH on its efforts to complete Phase II of The Village, a 24-home community for single-mother families
MSLLC and its team also support TRH in its fundraisers. In 2017, Management Solutions' project manager Sarah Franklin went "Over the Edge" for Restoration House, rappelling 12 stories to raise funds for this great cause. Sarah raised more than $3,000 for TRH and was this year's third largest fundraiser.
Mission of Hope Scholarship Program provides young people, caught in the pocket of poverty, with the opportunity to advance through funding support to advance their education. Management Solutions provides annual scholarship support (corporately and individually) to provide 13 annual scholarships across 13 regional high schools. 85% of the recipients are first-time college attendees. Once awarded, those students that continue in higher education are considered for continued support. More than $39,000 has been awarded under this program to date. Management Solutions also serves as a sponsor in support of the Mission of Hope annual golf fundraising event, as well as its annual benefit dinner.
Knoxville Covenant Health Marathon Annually, Management Solutions provides a team of staff to participate in this fundraiser. An event of the Knoxville Track Club, money is raised for a variety of worthy causes including the Boys and Girls Club of the Tennessee Valley, the Arthritis Foundation, the American Cancer Society, Knox County Schools, Legacy Parks Foundation, and local youth organizations.
Through company-wide as well as individual participation in marathons, races and special events, we've also raised important funds for many other charities, including:
American Diabetes Association
Knox Area Rescue Ministries (via the Dragon Boat Races)
Leukemia and Lymphoma Society
Patricia Neal Rehabilitation Center
St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital
The Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation (JDRF)
Thompson Cancer Survival Center Foundation
Tennessee Children’s Home is a group home for teenage boys and around Christmas 2013 our staff divided into teams to bring a little cheer to those in need. Each team sponsored a boy from Tennessee Children’s Home and we provided clothes, shoes, necessities, games, etc. For more information about Tennessee Children’s Home, please click HERE.
