Earned Value Management

We develop, implement, and maintain systems that are Earned Value compliant for our clients.

Greater visibility into project performance increases the likelihood for success. This is why having an Earned Value Management System (EVMS) is commonly required on U.S. federal government agency projects, and with greater frequency, being utilized on commercial projects.

At Management Solutions, we are able to help our government clients with design, development, and implementation of EVMS that are fully-compliant with the ANSI/EIA 748 standards for EVMS and capable of independent federal agency certification. Our team of experts also reviews and evaluates contractor-developed EVM systems against federal requirements to support self-certification and ensure that their systems are ready for agency certification.

Examples of our work

We have extensive experience both government agencies and contractors develop and implement Earned Value Management Systems. Recent projects include:

  • Partnering with a Department of Energy (DOE) prime contractor on the first EVMS self-assessment using the newest lines of inquiry as defined by the DOE's Program Management Oversight and Assessment Office
  • Providing EVMS reviews for a Department of Defense agency
  • Supporting a Department of Energy prime contractor in the development of a project management system that was EVMS certified

We take a highly disciplined approach, focused on executing the right tasks, at the right time, to deliver the right returns.
