Knoxville, TN — Management Solutions, LLC (Management Solutions) is pleased to announce the acquisition and integration of C.S. Engineering, Inc. (C.S. Engineering), a highly respected East Tennessee nuclear engineering firm with deep expertise supporting Department of Energy (DOE) Office of Science and National Nuclear Security Administration (NNSA) sites across the country.

This acquisition marks a strategic expansion of Management Solutions’ nuclear services, technical workforce, and mission acceleration capabilities at a pivotal moment for the Tennessee Valley Corridor and the broader national security enterprise. As investment in nuclear energy, defense modernization, and advanced mission infrastructure continues to grow across East Tennessee, the combined organization is positioned to help federal customers strengthen readiness, improve execution, and accelerate critical national security outcomes.

For more than 29 years, C.S. Engineering has supported Oak Ridge National Laboratory (ORNL), Isotek and Y-12 operations and mission-critical projects with specialized nuclear engineering, nuclear criticality safety, safety analysis, configuration management, technical audits, industrial safety, and readiness support.

The acquisition establishes a Nuclear Criticality Center of Excellence within Management Solutions, creating a dedicated platform for delivering specialized nuclear criticality safety expertise to DOE, and other high-consequence nuclear customers. By bringing together C.S. Engineering’s proven nuclear criticality safety engineers and subject matter experts with Management Solutions’ ProjectAccelerator™ asset-backed management approach, workforce solutions, project controls, and mission delivery capabilities, the Center of Excellence will help customers address one of the most specialized and difficult-to-fill skill areas in the nuclear enterprise.

The Nuclear Criticality Center of Excellence will serve as a scalable resource for accelerating mission readiness, strengthening safety and compliance, and supporting complex nuclear operations, modernization efforts, and capital projects. Through this integrated model, Management Solutions will be able to rapidly deploy trusted technical experts, improve knowledge transfer, and provide continuity of support for programs where nuclear criticality safety, execution certainty, and mission performance are essential.

“C.S. Engineering brings exceptional technical depth, trusted customer relationships, and a multi decades-long record of supporting some of the nation’s most important nuclear security missions,” said Misty Mayes, Founder and Chief Operating Officer of Management Solutions. “By integrating their nuclear criticality expertise with Management Solutions’ ProjectAccelerator™ and mission delivery platform, we are strengthening our ability to help customers accelerate readiness, solve complex workforce challenges, and execute work that directly supports national security.”

C.S. Engineering’s founder and president, Stan Love, will continue to support the integration and growth of the combined nuclear services platform. His leadership, technical reputation, and long-standing commitment to DOE customers will help Management Solutions expand its nuclear criticality capabilities and deepen its support for mission-critical sites across the national security complex.

“C.S. Engineering was built around a simple commitment: provide the right technical experts to help customers safely and effectively execute high-consequence nuclear work,” said Stan Love, Founder and President of C.S. Engineering. “Joining Management Solutions allows us to build on that legacy while giving our people and customers access to a broader platform, stronger delivery tools, and expanded opportunities to support the nuclear missions that matter most.”

The acquisition strengthens Management Solutions’ position as a leading workforce and mission solutions platform for energy, defense, and intelligence customers, while establishing the company as a provider of focused nuclear criticality expertise for the national security enterprise. Through the Nuclear Criticality Center of Excellence, Management Solutions will offer customers a differentiated capability that combines embedded subject matter expertise, technical workforce development, project execution support, and ProjectAccelerator-enabled delivery methods to help advance complex programs where safety, readiness, and execution certainty are essential.

“East Tennessee is at the center of the nation’s nuclear future,” added Mayes. “This acquisition reinforces our commitment to the region, to the DOE and NNSA missions we support, and to the highly specialized workforce required to deliver the next generation of national security and nuclear energy outcomes.”
