Management Solutions was thrilled to celebrate our 20th anniversary this month! From the spark of an idea during a chat around a picnic table, to our first clients – Oak Ridge National Laboratory and the Louisville district of the US Army Corps of Engineers, to managing over $9 billion in projects, it has been a spectacular journey of dedication to excellence. Earlier this month, our teams gathered virtually and in our Knoxville, TN, headquarters to celebrate this milestone. We are grateful to all who have made this journey possible. According to the US Bureau of Labor Statistics, fewer than 25% of businesses make it to 15 years, and only .16% of businesses make it to $10M in revenue. We are humbled to be part of this group and look forward to the next 20 years of serving our clients and communities.
One of our core values at Management Solutions is Servant’s Heart – we put service before self by bettering the communities we live in. In an effort led by Program Manager Tiffany Hearn, Management Solutions team members challenged themselves to perform 20 Acts of Service in honor of our 20th anniversary. While most of the volunteer work focused on our region of Appalachia, serving organizations such as the YMCA, Boys & Girls Club, and Compassion Ministries, other efforts spanned the globe from Kenya to Philadelphia to Houston to California. We’re so proud of our team members for contributing their time and talent to improving the world around them.
